Thanks to Valerie Waters for the fantastic RTE Nationwide report on April 20th, which sets myself and my Mum up nicely for our imminent return trip to Cat Lake First Nations next month.  In the meantime I was thrilled to receive support from Canada Council for the Arts to make a collaborative documentary entitled “Turtle Island Family Album”, with our Ojibway friends at the Cat Lake Archive group, and the Cat Lake community.  So at the moment we are busy putting a crew together and booking flights with Bearskin Airlines, Slate Falls Airlines, Porter Airlines, and North Star Airlines across remote North Ontario to make this special project happen. Chief Russell Wesley has informed me that the above monkey bars have sadly been demolished, but happily my playmates are still around and I look forward to reconnecting with them five decades later!
