Delighted to report that the stars aligned earlier this month with this super-talented crew, and our short aerial dance film “The Clouds are not Inaccessible”/ “Les Nuages ne sont Inaccessibles” is safely in the can, and currently being edited. In other news, at the beginning of last month I was invited to give the key note lecture at the University of Lille conference “Performing Female Bodies and Creative Corporeality in the English Speaking World”. I was delighted to present my talk “Haunted: Dancing Ghosts and Contemporary Irish Performance” to such an interesting audience, to be part of the exciting discourse, and to hear so many fascinating papers in this pioneering field from other contributors.
