I reviewed a fascinating book entitled “Thomas Mac Greevy and the Rise of the Irish Avant-Garde” by Francis Hutton Williams in the latest issue of The Irish Review. Mac Greevy is an important person in piecing together the lost story of Lucia Joyce, which I am working on at the minute, so I was delighted to get all these extra insights into this mild-mannered man’s character, talents, and extraordinary under-the-radar accomplishments by writing this review.
